DESCRIPTION:Model X camping in Ridgway State Park\n\n\nA club event that will enable us to join up with our friends from the Front Range\, the Western Colorado Tesla Club & Denver Tesla Club invite you to a Memorial Day camping excursion to Ridgway State Park!\n\nWe will meet the Denver Tesla Club in Glenwood Springs\, at noon on Saturday May 29th in Sayre Park for a picnic. At 12:30\, we’ll cruise the Crystal River Valley on HWY 133 through Paonia to stop at the combined Colorado Energy Office DC Fast Charger and Tesla Supercharger in Montrose for coffee or snack break before moving on to the campground. Most battery packs might not even need the charge\, but I’m sure many people will want to see the station\, which is quite unique!\n\nAs of Dec. 22\, 2020 there are still 92 electrical sites available (all camp sites have 30 amp power\, you are responsible for bringing your own adapter). You will be responsible for reserving your own campsite if you wish to spend the night.\n\nThere are also public chargers at nearby Hartwell Park in Ridgway proper.\n\nWe hope to see you there! DESCRIPTION:Join us in a summer evening cruise starting from Vicco’s Charcoalburger drive-in restaurant (51659 Hwy 6\, Glenwood Springs\, CO 81601). This event starts with dinner at about 6pm and a mini car show featuring unique cars from the West Slope. DESCRIPTION:The Montrose Star Drive-In is open for business\, and our next (physically distant) event will be held there on May 23 at dusk! This is a great event to support a local business\, gather together in a socially distant manner\, and show off our electric cars! Pamela\, the owner\, is willing to give us our own row if we can give her a good head count beforehand (she and her husband have been in business for almost 71 years!)\n\n\nThe drive-in is adhering to strict local COVID guidelines\, which can be found here:  http://www.stardrivein.com/covid-19.html Please take the time to read and follow these guidelines to help make sure this business can remain open\, and to make sure we all act in a safe manner. As always\, if you plan to drink alcohol\, make sure you have a designated driver (and as a reminder for Tesla owners\, Autopilot and other driving assistance software are not a replacement for sober driving).
